Book Reivew: Bared to You

This book was supposed to be the next best thing if you were a fan of 50 Shades of Grey.

I would give this book

What is this book about?
Eva Tramell, 24 year old blonde hair grey eyed girl recently moved from California to New York with her best friend Cary, to have fresh new start.  There she bumps into Gideon Cross, blue eyed black hair multi-billionaire alpha male, while picking up some fallen change.  Their eyes lock thus sparking their spicy irresistible connection.

Thoughts?
Errr... This book was okay.. It took me 2 weeks to finish this book because, honestly I wasn't interested.  The plot was boring, the conflict was boring... Eva annoyed me in most parts and sometimes her thought process was ridiculous.

Eva Tramell's thought process:
  1. Yay I love him! Whoohoo!
  2. What?! Are you serious?
  3. No! I hate you! I never want to talk to you ever again!!!
  4. I'm running away!!! Don't follow me!!!!
  5. Oh no, what did I do I'm sorry
  6. I want you back...
  7. Let's make up, pweaseeeeee
  8. Repeat x6 till the book ends

Is Bared to You similar to 50 Shades of Grey?
Yes
How?
- Both Gideon Cross and Christian Grey are extremely rich, handsome, and pretty much get whatever they set their eyes on.

Is Bared to You different from 50 Shades of Grey?
Yes
How?
- Eva Tramell and Anastasia Steele are very different
- Eva Tramell:  she's feisty, she know's what she wants, and likes to take control
- Anastasia Steele: she's innocent, naive, and always gives the benefit of the doubt

Now for the fun part! Putting faces on the characters

My Gideon Cross
Dolce&Gabanna's model David Gandy OMG

My Eva Tramell

Amanda Seyfried
After watching Chloe she can definitely play the part!

Overall
Both Gideon Cross and Eva Tramell both have some serious extra baggage.  Though I would have hoped this book turned out better, the story is very much more realistic than 50 Shades of Grey.  The downfall for me at least is that it's very frustrating to read, and times where I wanted to knock common sense into Eva. lol.

Would I read the next book?
I don't see why not,  I'm not super excited about it but I will.

Once again, Amazon is the best place to purchase books.

Thanks for reading! -Vanessa Jhoy
