Hello Everyone! I am very excited to share my thoughts on the LA Girl Glazed Lip Paints in 5 Shades: blushing, bombshell, baby doll, hot mess and coy.
Look at all these bright beautiful colors!
Let's first start off with a picture without lip gloss. Aside from my lips being extremely dry >_< (lol) I have naturally nude lips with a darker lip line.
Blushing is the most versatile color out of the five shades. It is a dark pink nude that will look beautiful on every skin tone. I am the most comfortable in this shade because it looks the most natural. Blushing can be worn on a day to day basis.
Bombshell is a gorgeous hot pink color; bold and striking. This color will look best on medium to deep skin tones. It's very sassy and chic.
Babydoll is an extreme bright bubblegum pink. Wow I would never image myself purchasing a shade like this. It makes me feel like a plastic barbie doll!
Hott mess is orange. It is the easiest way to explain this shade. It's like taking an orange highlighter and marking it across your lips. Ironically it looks great in photos and matches perfectly with the blush that I'm wearing.
Coy is an intense lilac purple shade. Purple is my favorite color but I would personally would never wear this shade out in public. Coy is so much fun and will definitely keep heads turning because it's so unique.
Feel free to use this photo as a shade reference. I have medium olive skin.
LA Girl Glazed Lip Paints are being compared as cheaper dupes for Too Faced Melted Liquified Long Wear Lipstick. The shades are very similar and so is the packaging. I could definitely see why they would be considered as dupes. If you want a cheaper alternative option for Too Faced Melted Liquified Long Wear Lipstick I would suggest the LA Girl Glazed Lip Paints.
LA Girl Glazed Lip Paints
- Color and Pigmentation: I give LA Girl a high five for the color and pigmentation. My lips look exactly like the shades on the packaging. My color of my lips change completely .
- Non-Sticky: It's sticky at all. The lip paints can be easily glided on the lips without tugging.
- Stains Teeth: Without a doubt when you smile you will get the lip paint on your teeth! It's terrible. I purposely did not any pics smiling for that reason.
- Lip Applicator: It's plastic and it sucks. It's easier to apply product onto a lip brush or on your finger before applying it onto the lips.
Overall the LA Girl Glazed Lip Paints offer unique fun colors. It is a great way to try different shades for a cheaper price. I'm glad I was able to try Babydoll and Coy, they are so bright an colorful!
